Here is a curved jack frame, beautiful EDC knife from John Howser. It has an ATS-34 ss blade, and very rich & good looking mammoth ivory. The liners, bolsters & cap,are integral, milled of one piece ss. Liner is millrelieved for the blade tang. Bolster has a rat tail flute, and bolster & cap is finished out with a satin brush finish, wich hides pocket wear quite well. That's why I'd call it a full size EDC.The blade is hollow ground & has an impeccable hand rubbed finish, crescent nail nick, and a full length cut in swedge. It has a very even pull, about a 5.Just right. Nice snappy & smooth action. Blade centers perfect closed. Spring is flush in all half stop positions. Nice grind, with a razor edge. Closed size is 4",open,7-1/8". Blade measures 3-1/8" from tip to bolster, with a 2-7/8" cutting edge. Sunk joint, see pics of the blade tang, closed, the back square edge of the tang is below the liner.Fantastic custom handmade slipjoint folder by Howser.
