I have a gorgeous custom handmade slipjoint folder here to offer, direct from John Howser of Kentucky. This knife is 4-1/8" closed,7.5" opened up. The blade measures 3-3/8" from the tip to bolster, with a 3-1/8" cutting edge.Bolsters, caps and liners are milled of one piece of ss. The liner is mill relieved at the blade tang,as well.Bolsters are "pinched" ,and the bolster & caps have a satin brush finish,as well as fancy threaded treatment. Inlaid and pinned ss propellar shield.Gorgeous antique looking subtle hand jigged & dyed bone by maker.Blade & spring are ATS-34 ss. Hollow grind on the blade, crescent nail pull and a real nice swedge on this slim line clip blade, hand rubbed finish is exceptional. The action is very, very smooth, perfect spring tension, just right.Spring is flush in all half stop positions, blade centers well closed. A gorgeous & well executed knife here by John.
