This slipjoint knife made by John Howser of Kentucky,is 4-1/16" closed, has a 3-3/16" blade (tip to bolster),and is 7-1/4" opened up.The bolsters and liners are milled of one piece,SS,and the liners are relieved.Half stop, perfect spring action, smooth, great walk & talk,"pinchable",no blade wobble. The blade is ATS-34 SS,a modified warncliffe,a great swedged blade design & centered perfect when closed.Blade & bolsters have a nice satin finish The bone scales are from an old production knife company in Germany,at least 80 years old, possibly more, but besides a really sweet jigging, they have pretty colors to them & quite unique. The SS pins are domed & done perfect,so is the nail nick on the blade,John nailed it on this knife. This knife feels great in the hand & for a 4" closed slipjoint,it rides pretty nicely in the pocket.
The blade cuts real good & holds a good edge, too.Condition is lightly & I mean lightly, carried, used & stropped, but excellent.Whoever buys this is gonna be happy
