Just did a private "trust swap" with John Johnson -- he was a man of his word and a great guy to boot. If you find yourself in transaction with him, you can trust him completely!

Best,

Brian.

I've known John for at least 15 years and count him as one of my true friends. He's a great guy. Just don't try to get anywhere on time with him!

....and don't talk to him until he's had his coffee.

Me:"Uuh....yeah, something like that."

I've done several (several too MANY...lol) transactions with John/Arcmender, and he is definitely one of the BEST guys I have dealt with on BF.

True EXCESSIVE knife NUT - someone way WORSE with me <VBG>. I hear he a pretty MEAN cook, too.

John shipped me a knife on my word that the "Check was In The Mail". Super guy- held the knife that I wanted although others wanted it as well.(I was first I guess)Super Fellow. Thanks John!

Mike

Wow guys, you know, I should check this area of the forum more!

I should be the one thanking you, because it takes two to deal! You know, out of all the deals that I have made on the Forums, I have never had one go "sour". Everyone I have dealt with has been fantastic. Too often we hear of people getting ripped off on the internet, but thankfully, in our little neck of the woods, we seem to be a pretty tight knit group. I think that speaks highly of us, as a group. Many, many thanks for the kind words. Now, I think all of you need to buy another knife from me...or two...or three...

Take care,
John Johnson

Ditto on arcmender. You are always a littl apprehensive, but this was great for both of us.

I also did a swap with John. There are "no worries" if you're dealing with him.

Sounds like that should be on his family Crest?
But, ditto with John, traded, bought, bargained and came out happy for both of us. But as Paul mentioned, let him have his coffee first....

!!!!!!!!!! My ancestors brewed the coffee that helped Wallace deal with the Brits, way back in Scottish history. Wallace apparently was a bear before his coffee, as well.

His fighting, however, improved upon sipping Great, Great, Great, Great Grandad Johnson's brew. However, it's lost in time as to whether this was coffee, or his Scotch.

Take care,
John Johnson
