Here is a very nice renditition ,of the famous T. Bose pattern folder. I'm not sure what steel this Cable Damascus is,but it is carbon steel. Spring is like steel,un etched. Handle scales are Eastman red Tennite ,finished out to a very nice polish. Bold , inlaid & pinned ss " Bullocks " shield. Liners are ss & mill relieved ,pins are ss. Blade centers well closed,not perfect,but no rub,and near center. Spring is flush in all half stop positions. Snap is like a 6 & is very much like the snap on a Lanny's Clip I once owned by Tony Bose. The action opening is glass smooth. I can pinch this blade open. Razor sharp,it is hollow ground. Perfect carry knife,just fancy enough,but a stout work horse. 3-7/8" closed,6-7/8" open. Blade is 3 with 2-5/8" of cutting edge.

Shadow style (no bolster) micarta Gunstock by John. The inlaid & pinned ,ss bullet shield is just the right size & really is a neat touch to this knife. At 3-3/8" closed , it is a great size for your pocket. Opened up it measures 6-1/8" .blade is 2-3/4" with 2.5" of edge. Liners are mill relieved & ss. Pins are ss. Blade & spring are 52100 carbon,ball bearing steel. Hollow ground perfect & thin,razor sharp. Crescent nail pull,I can pinch this blade open. Pull is a perfect 5+ ,glass smooth. Blade centers closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. The micarta on this knife is a golden buttery look & I'm sure it is older stuff from John's vast inventory of premium handle material. Just a fantastic knife here

The red one is cable Damascus and 1960's Eastman red Tennite. Last of my stash I think. Cool stuff. High carbon cable Damascus is usually made of the 10XX series steel. Exact is unknown.....

Here is a gorgeous stag English jack,with spear blade by John. This is genuine India Sambar that has been professionally pressure dyed . 4.25" closed,7-5/8" open. Blade measures 3-3/8" with 3-1/8" of cutting edge. Liners are mill relieved,and ss. Inlaid & pinned ss ' Bullocks " shield. Pins are ss,too. Blade & spring are 52100 carbon ball bearing steel. Hollow ground,razor sharp. This knife has a long pull & cut swedge. Glass smooth action,perfect 5 pull,I can pinch it open. Blade centers closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. Nice full size knife,with good looking stag,nice & light weight.
