John Lloyd Jigged Bone Gunstock ,$175 $165 shipped paypal as gift or add 3% goods. USPS money order ok too. No trades please.
New and Unused
Description by VCM3:
A very beautiful & well made gunstock jack by John. Pinned & inlaid dog head shield is ss. John took white bone & sent it out to Culpepper , so it is professionally pressure dyed. The jigging is by John. You do not see many jigged bone slipjoints from John , this is a real nice example. The spring is 6,smooth,very snappy & firm. It is just the way I'd want it. Blade & spring is CPM -154 ss. Hollow ground, satin finish. Long pull, cut swedge. SS bolster is "pinched" . SS liners are mill relieved. Pins are ss,spun pins on the bone covers. Excellent knife here. 3-5/8" closed,6-5/8" open. Blade is 2-7/8" with 2-5/8" of cutting edge. Blade centers closed, spring is flush in all half stop positions.
* note- I filed down front pin on shield side just a bit as it was a bit proud.
