This handmade slipjoint folder by John,is 3-3/4" closed. Opened up it measures 6.5" , blade 2-3/4" with 2.5" of razor cutting edge. Blade & spring are 52100 carbon. Bolster is ss,rounded & beveled in the front. Liners are mill relieved & ss , pins are ss. Action is glass smooth. Very snappy & pretty firm 6 to 6+ pull. I find it easiest to open with the forward nail nick. It locks up solid as a tank. Hollow ground blade,satin finish,double nail pulls.Spring is flush wth the liners & all half stop positions,blade centers perfectly when closed. Very nice mammoth ivory scales.
