This knife by John has a very nice & handy blade profile that I call the "utility". This knife has India sambar stag covers,ss bolster & pins. Nice texture & color on the stag. It tapers from back to front,thin knife. Real nice pocket friendly size at 3-5/8" closed. Opened up it measures 6.5" . The blade is 2-7/8" with 2-5" of cutting edge. Real nice hollow grind,thin & sharp, has a swedge ,very nicely done. Satin finish,long pull & I can "pinch" this one open. Smooth " 5 " pull. SS liners are mill relieved. The bolster is ss and " pinched" with a satin finish on it. The blade & spring are CPM-154 ss on this one. Blade centers when closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. The cursive stamp indicates the ss. Ships to you in a leather,fleece padded - zipper storage case. Shipping in the States is included,Paypal fee's included.

This knife by John is a trapper with a drop point blade. It has ebony covers that are fantastic,with a very traditional " double bomb " shield. The ss shield is pinned & inlaid. The liners are mill relieved,ss & the pins are ss. The Damascus blade has a very nice fine pattern,it is Alabama Damascus of 52100 & 15N20,and the spring is the same steel,not etched & polished. The action on this one is real nice,smooth & the pull is a 5+ to 6. Hollow grind on the blade is nice & thin,and sharp.No bolster " shadow" style is nice & light. The ebony is "pinched" in the front,very perfectly,real nice touch.The blade centers closed & the spring is flush in all half stop positions. 3-7/8" closed,6-3/4" open. Blade measures 2-7/8" with 2.5" of cutting edge. Another good looking folder by John,this one is a work horse with great fit & finish. Ships in a leather padded storage case.
