Ebony Barlow

John Lloyd,slipjoint maker on fire!! When I tell you the hollow grind on this blade is good,I'm telling you,it's as good as it gets! Gaboon Ebony. Realy,really nice fit & finish. Great walk n talk,a solid medium firm snapper. Knife feels like an old tyme traditional pocket knife. Nice n slim,just great. Satin blade finish,long pull. Swedge is PERFECT. Blade centers,spring ius flush. SS mill relieved liners. Stainless pinched bolster. Killer.The finish on the bolster ,it seems to me it's a new one & real nice,gotta feel it to get it.
3.5" closed ,6.25" open Blade is 2.75",with 2.5" of cutting edge Long pull,and is "pinchable" too. Blade & spring are CPM 154 ss

This is a magnificent larger two blade gunstock trapper. Hafted in the "barbed wire" micarta. Beautifil inlaid & pinned ss shield. The knife measures 3-7/8" closed. With either blade ,clip or spear open,it measures 7". Both blades measure 3-1/8" with 2-7/8" cutting edges. CPM 154 ss blades & springs. SS liners & middle liner mill relieved. Both blades have a smooth snappy medium 5 action. Springs are flush,blades center closed.Hollow grinds. Long pull on the clip,and crescent pull on the spear. Spear is "pinchable" , too.John kept it thin,thickness measured at the backspine,is 7/16" thick ,including the micarta. It's very well done :thumbup:
