The selection grows.....

Here is a 3-5/8" shadow ,swayback jack , hafted in 1970's era Westinghouse yellow paper micarta. Inlaid & pinned, fancy ss "N.Y. Knife Co." shield. Nice thin light, tough EDC worhorse with a strong snappy spring ,a 7 or 8 depending on how you interpret that. I call it firm. Excellent "lock up" Blade centers decent,no rub. Opened up it's 6.25" and the blade is 2-3/4" with 2.5" of cutting edge. Very mild drawn swedge on the CPM 154 ss blade. Deep hollow grind, wicked slicer here. Crescent pull and satin finish. For me it is "pinchable" to ope. Liners are ss & millrelieved at the tang,ss pins.Spring is flush with liners in all half stop positions.

wow...in the time it took me to check my bank account to check funds that mammoth trapper sold already...guess I shoulda just said yes!

You're right Vic, we might have had to have an arm wrestling match for that one! What a stunner!

Not that the others are chopped liver!!! John is cranking out some prime stuff here!!!

Mark

And what about that micarta...wow, John is really getting some top shelf stuff. He must have some kind of secret source for all this stuff, seriously it is amazing what he hafts his knives with.

The thing that makes Lloyd's knives to intriguing to me is the material he is able to use for handles.

First rate and not all that common.

Hey, Vince. John is doing some very nice work! I really like that stag trapper. Tell me about the W2. Has John just started using that? I haven't seen many (or any?) of his with it. I hope he uses more.

Thanks, Joe

Joe I had a batch one other time with W2. There is another W2 reg. Sambar on my site as well.

John is really making some gorgeous knives for you fella's pockets !

Cannot believe that buffalo horn is not gone. You have to see that one in your hand to appreciate it. My pics did not capture the depth of the handle scales. It's really nice

PS I have seen 1080,W2,52100 in carbon from John SS > CPM -154 ,ATS-34 ,AEB-L
