This is a 3-3/4" trapper by John ,a Don Hanson pattern. No bolster " shadow" style with fantastic India Sambar stag covers . The blade is 3-1/8" with 2-7/8" of cutting edge ,opens to 6-7/8". Hollow ground 52100 carbon clip point blade ,swedge & crescent nail nick . Spring is also 52100 carbon. Pins & liners are ss. Fantastic walk and talk with 5+ pull. New ,unused . This one is a drop point Backpocket ,Bret Dowell's pattern by John. The micarta is old rag from elevator rollers from Eastern Europe . When they made this rag micarta they did not chop up the cloth into little pieces ,they used great big hunks ,the result,it looks like ironwood after it's cut . According to John He & Menefee are the only ones that have it . It is rock hard material. 4-3/8" closed,3-1/4" blade with 3" of cutting edge opens to 7-5/8" . Fantastic walk and talk with a 6 pull I'd say . Hollow ground 52100 blade ,swedge & crescent nail nick .Spring is also 52100 carbon steel . SS liners ,pins ,tube & shield. New never used.
