This is a fantastic custom handmade slipjoint by John.It is 4-1/8" closed,a blade of 3-3/8" ,and 3" of cutting edge. Opened up it's 7-5/8" . This Barlow has a blade & spring of 52100 carbon. So you can use & enjoy it,and watch it patina up & gain character.This steel is known to take & hold a keen edge. Hollow ground & razor sharp. Long pull,swedge,and satin finish.Bolsters are stainless with a satin "brush" finish.Stainless liners are mill relived,and ss pins. Genuine India Sambar stag,great looking & very durable. The action,spring tension & mechanics are spot on. Blade centers perfect closed,no pivot wiggle in any direction.Spring is flush in all 3 half stop positions. Medium firm snap.
