This is a real fantastic hand made slipjoint folder by John. It has a blade & spring of Damascus steel. Brad Vice ,aka " Alabama Damascus " , 52100 & 15N20. The spring is not etched. SS mill relieved liners,pinned & inlaid shield ( awesome ) and ss bolster & pins ,too. The bolster has the front radius & bevel. Blade centers closed,spring is flush with the liners in all half stop positions. Super snappy walk & talk with about a 5+ to 6 pull,perfect! The scales are India Sambar ,perfectly hafted with peened pins. The blade has a deep hollow grind & a crescent nail pull. 4-1/4" closed,blade measures 3-3/8" from tip to bolster,with 2-7/8" of cutting edge. Opened up it is 7-5/8" OAL.
