First up...

This trapper by John has a great blade profile. 3.5" closed,blade is 2-7/8" with 2.5" of edge. Opened up,it measures 6-3/8" OAL , very nice size. Blade & spring are CPM-154 ss. Mill relieved liners,pinned & inlaid shield are ss. The bolster is ss ,and has that rounded bevel John does. Other pins,ss. Hollow ground slicer thin. Drawn swedge,crescent nail pull. Pull is a glass smooth 5. Blade centers closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. Very nice creamy mammoth ivory covers. Ships in a fleece lined,leather storage case.

This is a 3.25" stag swayback jack by John. Killer popcorn India Sambar stag. SS bolster,pins & mill relieved liner. Glass smooth 5 pull. Drawn swedge,crescent nail nick. Blade lays center closed,and the spring is flush with the liner in all half stop positions. Nice bevel on the bolster. CPM-154 ss blade & spring. Thin hollow grind,slicer sharp.The blade is 2.5" with 2.25" of edge,opened up it measures 5-7/8" OAL. Ships in a fleece padded leather storage case.

This knife by John has a curved jack,or trapper frame,and a very nice blade style,I'd say a modified warncliffe. Creamy mammoth ivory covers. Pinned & inlaid fancy ss shield , SS bolster,has a nice beveled front to it. 3-3/4" closed,blade is 2-7/8" tip to bolster with 2-5/8" of edge. Opened up it measures 6-5/8". CPM-154 ss blade & spring. Thin hollow grind. Nice smooth snappy 5,5+ pull,and this one can be "pinched" open. Crescent nail nick & drawn swedge. Blade lays center closed,spring is flush with liners in all half stop positions.SS mill relieved liners. Ships in a fleece padded leather storage case.
