This is the " Carolina Toothpick" . It's John's rendition of a George Herron " Gent" folder. It is 4-3/8" closed. The blade 3-3/8" with 3-1/8" of cutting edge. It opens up to 7-3/4" . It is used pretty good. I have carried this very slim pocket knife ,and used it like a pocket knife could be used for. Over time with use it has developed zero blade wiggle. This knife is a testament to how tough John's knives are. The liners are ss & mill relieved. Shield & pins are ss. The blade & spring are 52100. Hollow ground thin, swedge & crescent nail nick. Very slender & light weight. I have sharpened this many times, she's a slicer. The covers are " fire hose micarta" ,thin scales. Very durable material. I think rare. Killer 5+ snap,I can pinch this open but I would say not pinchable, practically, for most. The action is really killer perfect spring tension. I really enjoyed carrying & using this one.
