Made by primitive knife maker John M. Cohea of Mississippi who's knives, hawks and war clubs have been featured in Blade Magazine. I had John make this knife and it was recently published in Blade Magazines, 2015 Knives Annual. It features a beautiful curly claro walnut handle with a fold formed copper butt plate. Skinner blade is 1095 high carbon steel with an antique finish and stamped with the makers mark. The sheath is vegetable tanned rawhide with copper.
