Forged 1084 steel, 3 1/2" blade

Ebony handle with. Nickel silver guard.

Has a nice thin edge on this one and scalpel sharp of course! ;)

Here's a shot that shows off the nice contours of the handle a little better;

John's mark is indeed very original and IMO, one of the nicest you'll find. Not stamped or etched, he actually EDM's them. Awesome knife!

What does EDM mean?

Really nice knife. Wish it wasn't in Ebony though. I'm not fond of Ebony or African blackwood. They just remind me of plain old black paper micarta.

See an explanation here

It is a nice knife, the handle is quite comfortably shaped, at least to medium size mits like mine ;)

Added the nicer shot showing the curves of the handle better, also had a few trade offers but firm on both price and no trades, I don't mind folks asking, cause you never know unless you ask.

Here's a link to a LARGER image of the shot above, Perry large image warning

And a word of farewell to my Fuji S7000, this was the last image taken, the camera is now speeding westward to a new owner as I move up to the Canon EOS 20D, the above shot was taken using a white lightning strobe above and to the right of the knife, with some pieces of styofoam peanuts sliced to fit beneath the blade to raise it off of the background, by doing so provided a nice soft shadow along the edge of the knife and also it tilted the knife/blade to help in catching the blade without too much reflection from the strobe.
Great camera, I liked how that shot came out, showed the knife off quite well.
To those of you looking for a digital camera, but can't make the swing up to a DSLR, check out the Fuji S7000 cameras, they work well!

oh....and the knife is still available, no trades.
Thanks,
G2
