John Primble, Belknap Hardware knife?

Here are the blades open. Sorry about running away with your thread, Amos:( ! See what you started. . . Again!:D !

Works for me. Great stuff to see. The one I picked up looks from the pic as if it has a punch blade. The guy claims the blades are full and if that's the case it should be a punch. I'm just not sure from the pic and being cynical. I haven't gotten around to asking him about it more. Anyone know if the #5390 was made with a punch blade? That really is what grabbed me.

Someone has been a bad influence on me with those darn punch blades.

It's great just seeing the pics and hearing the info about these knives. Nice history. Until being on here and listening to you guys I never realized just how exstensive the contracting and how intertwined Amercian knife making and knife making coompanies were. Quite facinating! Also quite informative on how the various companies cooperated with each other in the business.

Yes it does. I think you can tell, it lies in there hardly projecting above the handle. It also has a punch. I'll post a pic w. the blades open. Can you do the same TLC?

I will try to in the morning, but it's the same knife, I just got mine out and it even has a punch instead of a Spey!
