I have a mint condition John W. Smith Vanguard liner lock flipper with carbon fiber scales, satined titanium bolsters, and a handrubbed Talonite blade for sale. This one's got really thick liners (I would estimate about .085"), too, so it is a big, strong folder. John is known for his impeccable fit and finish, and his work on the piece listed here is no exception. This flipper has long been discontinued, and it is probably the most sought-after model of all of John's tactical folders.
The Vanguard flipper listed here has never been carried, used, or sharpened, and it still has its original edge from John. The action is smooth, and the knife flips great; I can flip it open consistently from any position and orientation with zero wrist action. The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect.
