John White- A rare opportunity.

Man that has all of his trademarks on his. NICE acquisition. I have met him, 3 times, at the Little Rock show and he really is one of those guys that gives you his full attention when you talk to him about something like how to do those faceted domed pins. No detail spared, no hurriedness, just a nice guy.
 
Yet another example of proof that lack of finances need not get in the way of building a fine hand made knife collection....almost makes me want to become destitute so I can try it out.

Oh wait....I grew up poor, why would anyone ever want to go there again?

Great knife! John moved up in skill and design tremendously fast, and it is an absolute shame that he is no longer with us, I think of him often.

Hmmm, maybe you are just growing up, Lorien my friend, and got a knife
only because it is beautiful and not mainly for cutting a new trail in the forest.... :)

I don't think any of us collect things because it is a grown up thing to do! Actually, I think the opposite is true :)

I am not a big collector but this is the most cherished one.

Hey, if anyone else wants to post up pictures of John White's work, please feel free.

I understand that this knife I have now was one of the few which John made that never made it's way to Paul Long for a sheath. The combination of White and Long as struck me as ideal.
