I've got a couple of John White pieces for sale.
Full-dress exhibition grade bowie.
Forged 1084 blade is 9” long, OAL 14”. Highly polished giraffe-bone scales, nice leather sheath by maker.
Extensive rope filework throughout, including the intricate pommel assembly, ferrule/spacers, clamshell hilt, top of spine--even the casing on the tang is delicately fileworked. Spanish notch and long swedge-ground clip (unsharpened).
This is a beautiful bowie that just feels right. Very slight mark on the left clip - but otherwise perfect.
Asking $900 - shipped in the lower 48, shipping additional AK/HI or international.

Beautiful piece - stag handle, file worked ferrule, silver escutcheon, mosaic pins. Comes with two leather sheaths by John White - one left hand, clip on and one right hand with a belt loop. 4 3/4" blade, 4 1/2" handle - 9 1/2" overall.
