John White Clamshell Damascus & Fossil Ivory Take-Down Dagger

Wow thats a crazy cool dagger and unique as hell. And I love the thickness of those scales. How long did you take to build this?

Spectacular knife. The damascus is really something and the Ivory is beautiful.

As always John's fit and finish is the best.

Buddy you did a great job on the photos.

Absolutely amazing!! That ivory is probably the nicest I've seen used, it just matches the dark blade perfectly, stunning beyond words. Good thing I'm not going to the show, if I got that in my hand you'd never get it back!

I had an early peek at this one Buddy, and have been looking forward to your pics - well done! This is an exceptionally well coneived and executed piece and is easily one of my favourites from this most telented maker. I love the whoe idea of a convertible clamshell - too very cool! I am sure the new owner will be thrilled.

Derrick - it's not just you.

I'd like to hazard a guess that if Mr. John White keeps working at it, he just might get this knife making thing licked!!! ;) :p :D

Just a crazy amount of art meets technical difficulty in this piece--- Outstanding work my friend!!! :)   :)

Beautiful image Buddy!!! :)

Many aspects of this knife would require great skill. The way the but cap fits so well must have been very challenging.

John that is absolutely stunning. You are an artist of a different caliber. Congrats to you and the new owner!

Absolutely stunning. A grail knife that I wish was coming home to reside in my collection.

Wonderful work, John, and thank you for the great pics that allowed me to enjoy it Buddy!

Nothing really intelligent to add to the comments.

But Wow, and Wish it was mine!

John, That is absolutely wonderful! An heirloom that will be cherrished for centuries to come...

Thank you Buddy for the exquisite view...

Adam.
