Handle is stabilized maple burl. Fittings are stainless steel with thin black micarta spacers
This was bought a couple of months before John got his JS stamp at Blade 2004 and is every bit equal to the clean work that would net him the Peck Award for best Journeyman knife as well as New Maker of the Year honor that year. Filework on the spacers is quintessential John White style. Nothing else to add other than the knife and John's reputation speak for themselves.
Never used, carried, or resharpened. Only fondled and loved and locked away.
