On Monday July 31, my instuctor in Arnis Datu Shishir Inocalla (the first person to be given a Datu under Remy Presas) came to a knife seminar with Bram. Shishir has been given the task of oganizing all of the Phillipino arts together. He is also trying to get Arnis into the Olympics.
After reading Brams book on Modern Arnis (Paliiden Prees Winter 2001) and watching the videos, Datu Shishir promoted Bram to 5th Degree - Master Level as recognized in Arnis Marharlikaha (Great Being) and the Naational Govt. of Ph. is going to recognize CSSD/SC as a actual Ph. art. It's cool to watch a grown man cry & Bram definitley was overwhelmed(almost brought him to tears)!
Her really deseved it and also will be the director for Arnis Marhrlikha in the US. Congrats again Bram and good fortune for all of your projects.:}:}:}
