Thanks to all the Custom collectors and makers who have been patient and helpful to get a newbie on the right track...too many to name names....although off the top of my head, Jon Klein, Jon Brand, Joe Paranee, Mike Talanian, Eli G, Haze, Lin Rhea, Jason Knight, Don Hanson,Russ Andrews, John white, Rodrigo Sfreddo,Nick wheeler,Chuck Gedraitis and many others!

Your doing well. Glad to have you in our group. Awesome knives will be flowing in no time. :)

Glad you joined Jeff! The Association is a great one, with lots of benefits, and like the custom knife world in general, lots of great folks. You're off to a roaring start, both in gathering some terrific knives and in making some good friends. You have a stellar attitude which is an asset to this community.

Jeff the custom knife community needs and appreciates new collectors such as yourself. Your enthusiasm is something I can certainly relate to. The CKCA is another good venue and these forums are excellent ways to make new connections and continue learning about the world of custom knives.

Have fun!

Jon

the CKCA is a wonderful organization. Well done.

I too think that you will enjoy the company, Jeff, and even more
meeting quite a few of the CKCA members at our annual banquet,
the evening before the BLADE Show in Atlanta!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

thanks guys, for the well wishes and help. I have had gone full cycle going from newbie to one of the knowlegdable guys in other forums here and made it a point to be helpful to newbies there as I was greeted in the past, I happy to say the positive cycle is beginning again full force.

some great pieces on the way which I will happily share pics of and I am looking forward to the annual banquet thursday before blade, by then I'm sure I will be able to "hold my own" in most conversations regarding the custom knife world ;)

An organization with a lotta heart, vast collective knowledge, and a great bunch of wiesenheimers who have fun. A very dedicated and tireless leader & leadership team who have all of my respect.

Welcome to the CKCA, Jeff (oh, and love your avatar)

Jeff -- don't forget to ask makers etc if any discount is offered as often 10% price reductions are available for supporting CKCA members. Not sure if a collector could do that though.
