Hey guys, I'll try to make a long story short!
Bought 2 brand new MT LUDTs from Blade HQ. Fired each a few times a day to break them in. Never cut anything at all, just carried a few times.
After a month one broke a spring....really??
Didn't think Blade HQ could help after a month and DID NOT want to deal with MT's abysmal customer service.
Did some searching and found Jon at autoknife.com. E mailed him and got a response quickly. Sent him the knife and around 5 weeks later I got my blade back!
There is not a mark or scratch anywhere and it is in perfect working order!!
During the time he had it the other LUDT suffered the same fate.....another broken spring on a brand new and never used MT.
I e mailed Jon about it and was going to send it to him. He said to hold off.
He sent me the tools he machined for the tri wing fasteners and an extra spring so I could fix it myself!!
Great guy that does great work and he answered every e mail I sent him!!
Totally satisfied!!
