Exactly the same thing happened to my m16-13 Mil. When I got it I gave it a vigorous flick and the liner jammed. I had to use a table knife wrapped in a cloth to pry it loose. That was then, and since then it hasn't happened again, the knife has been a very good edc.

Also have the M21 plain edge, I've re-profiled the edge with a Lansky and it is as solid as a knife gets, easy to sharpen freehand. You'd really have to grossly abuse it to break it!

Yeah it was a bit of a bummer when that happened with the TI, I was really looking forward to carrying that knife. I was surprised, you know? I figured it would outperform the 03z by a mile but after that first incident, I don't think I would ever feel comfortable carrying it.

It wasn't all bad though, I exchanged the TI for my first full sized Griptilian. An excellent move, if I do say so myself.
