I just received the two blades I ordered from Barry Jones in February, and they rock! Thet were shipped EXACTLY when he said they would, and turned out even better than I had hoped. Barry kept me in the loop as the blades progressed, and asked questions in order to personalize them. This is one of the best experiences I've had with a custom maker. By the way, I got a JK-23 Combat/Survival knife with a 9" blade, and a JK-29 neck knife, and I'll be putting them to work this summer. Barry and Phillip rock, and I look forward to doing business with them again. Thanks guys!
PS- Their sheathmaker did a terrific job on the the sheaths I requested. They are some of the best sheaths I've ever seen.

Seriously, you hit the nail on the head, it would be hard to find 2 nicer guys who go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. And their knives are rock solid too, built like a brick outhouse.

I just got my first Jones bros. knife all I can say is wow what a great looking knife. as a matter of fact my youngest son had to have one like it too.
not only are they great knife makers but great people to deal with also.
I hope to own more of their knives in the future.
 
Gonna be hard to deal with them @ the next guild meeting now. Heads are gonna swell up so big. U cant go wrong with the jones brothers.

Seriously, it amazes me that more people dont know about them. They've been making knives for 16 years, have been written up in the magazines and featured in 3 or 4 of the Knives Annual books. Their prices are some of the best dollar values out there and it's always great to own a knife made by genuinely nice people.
Dont worry, if their heads get too swelled I'll give Mrs. Jones a call and she'll get those boys in line:D
 
I agree...Barry and Phillip make some excellent fixed blades and folders! Currentlyy I own a couple of their knives and definitely want to add more. hey are really running with those folders, I tell you. I have personally witnessed the progress from the first folder to the latest. Somehow, Barry gets his jollies from "torturing" me by emailing pics of their latest projects, especially the folders :D It's probably the best torture anyone can receive! Seriously, they have come a long way since that first folder. I cannot wait to handle the new stuff at Blade!

It was a pleasure to do business with both of you too. People make all kinds of comments about the knifemakers being so nice but you hardly hear a word about how the customers are so nice to deal with. You two are fine examples of great people to deal with.
