Joseph Rodgers and son 145 machete

I found a machete in my grandfathers army trunk. On the canvas sheath it reads: W i - - (can't make the rest out)
1945
AF 0101

The stamp on the 18" blade reads:
1945
AF / 0100
G (picture of a crown) R
JOSEPH RODGERS & SONS < (arrow head)
CUTLERS TO HIS MAJESTY
SHEFFIELD ( picture of asterisk and an iron cross type symbol) ENGLAND

I have checked all over the internet a cannot find a comparison.
Do any of you well versed fellas know of this / perhaps a value?

Welcome. I would edit your post and take out the part about value as per the sites rules. See the rules...
