Josh at Razor Edge Knives

I don't keep track really, but I'm pretty sure Josh has done 4 regrinds for me and all have been outstanding. In fact I've got a Direware Solo Wharnie on it's way back to me right now that I'll be photo-bombing next week...just a heads up.:p
Josh is definitely a pro and runs his business as such.
 
His prices are high and he has limited anodizing options, but he most certainly does flawless work and has excellent communication throughout the entire process.

Usually I will handle my own sharpening. It's a special treat or an absolute necessity (in situations where I've really damaged the edge or let it go for entirely too long and am feeling too lazy to do it myself) when I use a professional.

Being that is the case, I dont sweat the price. I think I've sent knives in three times in eight years. If I had to rely on these services on a regular basis perhaps I'd consider pricing it out.

Regardless, Josh's ability is top tier. My bevels are so symmetrical it's almost frustrating as now everything else looks shoddy. I dont want to compare anyone directly but I have received one knife from another service provider (not on these forums) and while it was satisfactory, there is a decisive difference in the end product.

falls into the ya get what ya pay for. cheaper ain't always better.
