This is a beautiful wharncliffe style folder by Josh Smith. Josh switched to part time recently and his knives are becoming alot more difficult to come by.
This folder appears to be in mint condition on the front and back side but there is some rust spots on the liners on the back (see pictures). It hasn't gotten worse since I've owned the knife and was there when I purchased it. Also there is very light blade play but the lock is solid. I arranged to send my knife to Josh to refurb the liners next month which is about a $100 job. However, I just ran into a very bad financial situation and I need to get cash very soon. So I will offer this knife at a good discount from Josh's retail price of $1700. If you want the work done, I will alert him the knife changed hands.
I am asking $815 for this folder shipped. This includes USPS priority shipping. I will only ship with in the United States. I accept check, money order or paypal but the buyer must add 3.5% ($29) to cover the fees if you choose paypal (please ask for paypal address).

-Fossil Walrus ivory handle scales which happen to be some of the nicest I have seen. They have that rare blue color which you know is rare if you collect Walrus ivory pieces. (the blues are much more vivid then in the photos)
-3 1/8" Wharncliff Blade
-Laddered W Pattern Damascus Blade and Bolsters of 1080 and 15N20
-Steel is Heat Colored/Blued Gold
-Citrine inlaid thumb stud.
-Liners are 15N20 and are heat colored gold, but show a bit of rust in a few places along backside
