Jacob of JRB Blades is one of the best makers I have interacted with. I bought a knife from him on Instagram and carried it for months. It started to develop a bit of lock rock. I reached out to him and asked it I could just bend the lock bar over just a bit, he offered to fix it but said I could give it a try. I bent the lock bar too far and gave the knife awful lock stick. I reached out to Jacob and he said he would fix it. He ended up remaking the blade since the lockup was later than he liked and he spa’d the knife. Jacob stands by his knives and is a great guy to talk to.

I’ll chime in here also, purchased two blades from him both in magnacut, one drop point, one tanto, both had exceptional grinds and one had his acid wash treatment on the blade. So far no scratches on the blade and it has seen some rough work. Since he does all his work in house production is not high but he was more then willing to put me on a list that h kept his work on. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple no nonsense blade. JRB Blades
