Hi everyone!

Here is the second knife I've just completed to use for one of my JS Test knives.

This knife has thirty pieces total, fourteen of them are internal line up pins. The handle is set up in a frame style configuration. The fittings are Silicon Bronze and German Silver. The handle is made from Mammoth Ivory. The 6 1/4" blade is forged from 5160. The overall length is 11" long. The German Silver Liners are 0.032 thick and have Star Burst Pattern File-work on them.

I would also like to thank my brother Caleb for the great picture!

Tell me what you think!

Thanks for looking!

Here are a couple progression photos. Everything will be epoxied tight together right after the last picture and the knife is done.

I have already begun to work on the next one which is a D-guard Bowie with a twelve inch blade.

Another very nice one Kyle.
Here's another example where you have come so far with your handles and guards in a very short time.
Love your use of silicon bronze here, looks to be executed very well. Though I prefer darker handle material with bronze.
As Joe, really like you blade profile with the long clip.

Like how you utilize the floating tang for your pommels.

Another nice photo Caleb

Looks good, thanks for the construction pics. Are you going to keep the bronze polished or let it naturally patina between now and the show?

Another good one, Kyle. The guard is particularly nice, elegant curves, and just the right taper to the tips.

John

Great looking knife and fine pictures Kyle.

I was thinking the german silver would really stand out if they were separated by some black fibre liners.

Looks great Kyle!

The fact you're pulling off such high level construction so early on is really something.

'elegant' is the first word that comes to mind in describing what I think about this one. There are lots of other descriptors in my mind, all of them positive.

Superb! I like the bronze fittings and the long clip on that blade!

:eek:That looks great Kyle!! I love take downs!

Beautiful job, Best of luck on your testing:thumbup:

She's really fine! Love the proportions & flow, the long clip & blade shape, the bronze/german silver/mammoth combination.

The progression pics are great to see!

Caleb, nice pic. Captures the knife very well.
