Hi Everyone!

Here is #4 of my Journeyman Test Knives. The 10" blade is forged from W-2, the handle is of Black Walnut from right here in Missouri, the fittings are stainless steel with the ferrule being heat colored. The overall length is 15". There is also an 18K gold pin in the handle. This one is sold to a fellow forumite.

The next one will be a spear point bowie with 9" blade, sandbar stag and bottleneck style handle.

I would like to thank Caleb for the picture!

Thanks for looking, have a great day and see you at BLADE!

Oh man oh man. That has a sweet blade. I like the rounded spacer alot... Is that Hanson tree walnut?

Kyle,

Just walked in from the shop and saw this on the forum. What a good looking knife!

That guard is near-bout perfect, and your blade is awesome. As B.R. would say," a hint of a re-curve ..."

Can't wait to see all five together.

John

That's a fine looking knife. I really like that guard. Great blade and the Black Walnut really sets it off.

You are makeing me sick Kyle i am just putting the handle on #3 and you are already working on #5 that is wrong just wrong i tell you.......................

Super job, Kyle! I really like this one a lot! Great blade profile with a really nice hamon. Your stainless guard and heat colored spacer work well on this knife, and the walnut handle rocks. Your clean work should impress the judges. Just a wonderful looking fighter.

But, remember, you only have 6 weeks to finish that 5th knife! ;) :D

No, It's from a friend who lives about thirty minutes from me. I have enough for about three more knives!

Thanks for all the complements everyone!

From what you have shown so far....I would say SUCCESS is inevitable.

You are making some exceptionally nice knives.

Peter

Veru nice piece, i really love the shape of the guard -- those subtle curves are beautiful.
