Judged too early-Cuscadi

I posted a thread a while ago with questions about Luke's service at Cuscadi. I tried posting this there but it wasn't working, so I figured it was locked or something. I'm making this post because that thread was left on a bad note, and it was because I judged too early. I called his communication efforts into question, and this was before I realized that on top of taking care of hundreds of orders for custom scales, he is also a full time student, and it is only a 2 person operation.

There was another issue with the scales themselves. The scales came in and they are amazing. Most perfect fit for anything I've ever seen, and top notch finishing. I originally asked for a white version of the "Rugged Reptilian" set, with black backspacer. He sent me a white set of "Grooved" scales with a black gear cut backspacer. (Pictures here)

I sent him an email and told him I loved the scales, and would like to keep the grooved set of scales (I think I like the grooved scales better anyway) . But I DID specify that I wanted a Rugged Reptilian set with that specific backspacer. (picture of what that set looks like) He asked me if I wanted him to send me a new backspacer, and I said sure, and asked him if he wanted me to send the other one back. The next response I get is him sending a confirmation message of the backspacer on its way, at his expense. He cut straight to the chase and got me what I needed. I have no doubt that he would have sent me a new set of scales if I asked him to.

Just wanted to apologize for the quick judgement, and add another pat on the back to Cuscadi to go along with all the others.

That is why you had lots of people telling you to relax and not worry. I remember you saying you felt slighted because he didn't reply to every email. My advice is always learn what you can from the experiences of others. As they say,"There's no education in the second kick of a mule".

Yea. I knew they were all right...but I guess I was just so anxious for the scales that I got kind of irritated ^_^'

Another good customer service experience with Cuscadi. I have had several sets of scales off him including whole knives also. What is with people jumping the gun on some of the best people in the knife industry recently?

Glad you took the time and cojones to post this thread.

P.S. lightening strike carbon fibre scales will be available from Cuscadi in the near future. Rock on Luke.
