I am tapped out because I just purchased a new laptop (old one was on its last legs) but as soon as I saw this I snapped it up, because I am saving my future self from the heartburn I'd feel seeing the pics people will post when they start landing in mailboxes and knowing I'd missed out. This is one I'm going to enjoy having in my collection for sure, right up my alley in every respect!kinda pricey, but im in for 1. this feels like a 175 dollar knife, but 240 with tax...okay I'll do 1 of them.
that was great knife. kinda wish they did more of the 100 series in the same setup. For a July BOTM I don't think they will top the 2019 July BOTM(one of my all time favorites)...

How else would they match the profile? It also appears, from the example shown, that whomever ground that knife, removed 10% of the surface "theme" material from the top and bottom of the scales.
American Camocarbon is a fairly common material used by many different makers at the moment, and it fits the July 4th theme quite well, you'd need to be on drugs to not immediately see that, actually. Secondly, are you referring to the chamfering that was done to make it match the curvature of the bolsters?Do those Buck guys do drugs? LOL It appears to be some kind of psychedelic interpretation of the red, white and blue theme on a black background.

It was a joke.American Camocarbon is a fairly common material used by many different makers at the moment, and it fits the July 4th theme quite well, you'd need to be on drugs to not immediately see that, actually. My mistake. It actually just seemed that you were ignorant to the material in common usage. But hey, don't take it so seriously, now you know.It was a joke.
You shouldn't take yourself so seriously.
Im not familiar with camocarbon Is it some kind of carbon fiber stuff? Is it slick smooth or does it have texture? It's up, and it's gorgeous! Get 'em while they're hot, folks!

It's generally smooth. Camocarbon comes in a variety of colors. As a quick example, SMKW and Knifecenter have both done several exclusive editions of knives from various manufacturers/makers in various colors. SMKW's I believe is "Mars Valley", a reddish orange/black combo that's pretty awesome. You'll also see "Jungle" or "Arctic" camocarbons that have elements of green/black, and blue/white, respectively. Some companies will do a white/black and call it "Snowstorm" or "Whiteout", stuff like that. One thing I like about most camocarbons is that they'll usually have an element of chatoyance in them, that is, a shining depth to them in certain lighting conditions that can be pretty attractive. I saw countless knives with this scale material this year at BLADE, and is a pretty neat feature, honestly.Im not familiar with camocarbon Is it some kind of carbon fiber stuff?
