I wouldn't say that I'm disappointed in my knife, I am definitely glad to have it. It's just that I've seen plenty of ACC knives done where the red/white/blue are very prominent and vibrant, with the chatoyance of the carbon fiber providing that depth and shine in the background. On the pics shared here, and in other places I've seen where folks are sharing the knives they've received, the ACC run that was picked to be used as scale material is just much more muted, with minimal coloration than I expected. Still good, but candidly, not great (to me). It's a pizza situation for sure.
 
Okay. After looking on ACC website, this is more subdued than their pics, so I can see why you were expecting more color.
Still, it's a nice knife, and I'd like to see Buck use more Camo Carbon. Maybe in the Custom Shop.
 
I’m sure they are nice and im glad you guys that wanted one got one, congrats! They just weren’t my taste. I prefer bright colors, wood antler, bone and with some texture and some meaningful design . It’s just that some of these mottled black or gray with rendom multi colors remind me of a road kill stuck to my tires or pavement or my grandmas apron. 😆

yep, not very red white and blue. I used direct sun to get best coloring to pop the colors. out of the direct sun looks much more like Quiets.....

Mine is about the same or even a little darker. I was going to take photo, but I see photos taken today seem to be a good representation. I wish it was more like last year's 250 Saunter ACC release which nailed the patriotic theme.

I'm wondering if the July 2024 BOTM Saunter didn't sell well(can't remember) and the decision makers at Buck thought the ACC was to 'loud'.
Here's a link to the thread for the BOTM Saunter. Didn't sell out 'til around July 26-27. I'm thinking it was a combination of wrong model and to loud.

I'm surprised the Saunter model in general wasn't more popular. It's about the classiest modern slipjoint I've seen. I really liked the July BOTM Saunter from last year, but I had bought the Legacy series Saunter from a couple years back and didn't do the BOTM.

I love everything about the Saunter drop points.
 
Same experience with the coloration on mine. I really like the knife, however would have loved more vibrant colors.

I’d still buy one all over again even knowing what the camo carbon scales look like.

If it would have had a pattern like that python 110 at smkw I think that would be pretty nice looking in red white and blue. I’ve seen other synthetic materials that were patterned in multiple colors that were really striking and caught my eye. Just that random stuff sometimes looks like a mess on the chicken coope floor or the birds flew over after eating mulberries. 😂
 
I too was wishing these July BOTM 110 knives had brighter colors (I have two of them) until I saw the photo of the 2024 BOTM Saunter. In comparison, this year’s darker, less colorful, 110 looks like a more serious knife…a good feature to me.

I'll bet everyone is just waiting for the Range! Or the 110 and 112 auto elites in Magnacut! Lol, that's definitely the case for me!
