jumping hoops for paypal

so just what hoops must i jump in order to have people pay me witht there credit card
it has me listed as able to but im not sure if i have to set something up or not

Have you confirmed your account yet? That should be all you need to be able to accept payments.

If you're a premiere member then they give their CC# to PayPal, PayPal removes a few % and hands you the rest.

If someone pays you with a CC through Paypal, Paypal charges you a few percent, but if they pay you from their bank account, it's free.

It's not free! Even from account to account, they keep about 1%. With a CC, it's about 3%.

They must have changed it recently, or they were lying, because they said it's free if you're using a bank account.

I prefer Paypal. The 3% is worth the peace o' mind!

Don't let paypal (ebay) have access to any account that has a lot of money in it. Set up a separate account just for pay pal transactions and remove the money often.
Unless of course you trust e-bay with your money.
