Jumping out of airplanes

I've lived long enough to see Sarge go abstract on us. What next? A contract with the Sundance channel?

....no wait; an endowment from the NEA; script's better than the short films of the Independent channel.

Not the result of an alien abduction I assure you Munk. I'm popping in and out taking breaks from doing yardwork. It's 102 out there right now, and I was up well past midnight last night, downing some beers with some buddies. So, either I'm a skosh light headed, or just getting in touch with my inner psycho. Either way, the weedeater waits for no man. :p :D

Awesome Chris. I must admit to being too much a pus..... to do this. When I met my wife she took me to this video game place. They had a bungee jumping thing and she said, "Ooh, lets do it." The relationship was too new to say no. I was able to hold my breath and keep my eyes closed through most of it. She didn't even notice either. Whew. I always hated new relationships.

Maybe a new date is like a bungee cord.

Yessir, and around the third or fourth date they start measuring your neck for a collar to which they can attach a leash. God bless the ladies, they brighten the world with their loveliness, and without 'em mankind would be a rudderless, anchorless, ship, aimlessly adrift. But many a poor lad who weren't paying attention, woke up one morning to learn to his dismay, he'd done been "house broken" by a creature fair of face, but full of guile. Aye, it's enough to set me to weeping, seeing the poor spiritless swabs heeling and fetching to every command of the sometimes loved, sometimes loathed, but ever powerful SWMBO. ;)

Ahhh - skydiving, bungee jumping or women. Seems to me that no matter which you choose, you're casting your fate to the wind.

That looks like fun!! I haven't managed to do this yet. I have jumped off a perfectly good bridge with a rubber band tied around my feet, though, and would do it again in a heartbeat. :)

there is nothing like it, I know I haven't jumped in about 20 years, I need to go back and give it a try one day. I hav'nt tandemned but have done static lines and some preliminary freefall stuff, back before tandem was popular.

I will have to say that if you have never smelled fear , you haven't put on a parachute harness, they reak of it...... No matter what anybody tells you,
it will put a power pucker factor on ya. It's good for the soul, give you some perspective on things( like how far down can be).....
