June 2021 BotM - Now Available!

We've gotta be getting close! With Father's Day and summer right around the corner, I'm kind of hoping for something from the cutlery collection because I plan on doing lots of barbecuing.

What do you think it's going to be? What are you hoping for?

So here she is! A Buck 110 in Green G10 and S30V and a black Cerakote thumb stud. I'm not huge on G10 and I already have an S30V 110 (although, not a drop point...) It's gets a "meh" from me.

I hope everyone who wants one is able to get one!

naw- joe had nothing to do with the botm....

probably wont happen till after the factory sale next week----i think thats what they did last year at this time...

I'm always surprised when I go over to a fellow knife fanatics house (some WAY more into the hobby than me) and they have $1000+ pocket knives and cheap, throwaway kitchen knives. For whatever reason, it seems like there isn't as much crossover as I would expect.

yep, and I see them bring in their not kitchen knives into the kitchen to do food work with them. ive never done that myself, though....

Upgraded steel,nickel silver frame and maybe something modern like carbon fiber for the scales.

Unless its a really lame iteration, I think I'm in for one regardless of kitchen or not. Heresy I know, but for that reason, I think I'm more interested to see whether the drop will be this upcoming week (before Father's Day) or if they'll wait until the cutlery sales ends, like mentioned above.

At the Blade Show I was able to talk to CJ 3 or 4 times and twice I asked please (very nicely) drop a box of drop point blades off at the Custom shop..CJ did say Buck has big plans for the 50th anniversary of the 112. I'll be looking hard this week at my phone 'just in case' the BOTM is a 112..
