I think longer Sold Out times are due to the increase in producing 500 knives each month. Before January 2021, it was a mad scramble to try to buy a BOTM (one month they only made 75). This most likely caused people to make the purchase before deciding if they really even wanted the knife in the first place. Or just caught up in the excitement of being able to purchase a BOTM. I know I liked the excitement. Now that excitement is gone, knowing there are most likely hours to make that decision, causing some to not make the purchase because (Fill in your reason). Going forward, I think the time to Sold Out may increase, as people realize they have a day to make the decision. Unless, of course, the knife is a super fantastic o'my goodness, etc, etc. Just my thoughts : )First time in a while, if I remember correctly, that there are still some available this morning. Lately they've been selling out the BOTM before I go to bed. Hmm. Guess this one was a yawner for a lot of folks.
Just curious, if you know, what was the price of the DLT version ?It looks a lot like one of the DLT exclusives from a couple of years ago (with the addition of that snazzy thumb stud).
I would consider a knife like this BOTM if it had the traditional clip point, but I'm pretty much over the drop point 110/112s now.
Just curious, if you know, what was the price of the DLT version ?
Thank you. I missed that one, . . . but I got this one !Just under $100.
Thank you. I missed that one, . . . but I got this one !
Very nice ! Can't wait to get this one from Buck. I think I like it better without the medallion in the handle (will see once knife is in hand). Here are four of the DLT Limited Editions.![]()
first, welcome to the forum. thank you for your service to our country.New to site and new to Buck Knives. Jumped on this one due to OD green handle (I’m retired Army) and the fact that I’ve been wanting a 110 for some time.
Purchased on Tuesday, but haven’t received shipping notification from Buck yet. Does Buck typically take this long to process and ship?

yes sometimes it takes days. sometimes ya never get one, but the knife ships. not that weird.
mine just arrived... removed the thumb stud (got fingerprints all over the blade, I know). I like it.

Thank you!jbmonkey is spot on. I've had the same happen in the past. Actually, this month is somewhat similar. I order one within 30 minutes of it going on sale. Decided to get a second one since two of my children have June birthdays, so figured one for each. Purchased them about an hour apart total.
Received shipping confirmation for one the next day, but didn't receive shipping confirmation for the second one until this morning. Both are scheduled to arrive on Monday. I don't think you have to worry.
Thanks for your service!
looks better without the thumbstud, and I like thumbstuds. color of g10 is great.mine just arrived... removed the thumb stud (got fingerprints all over the blade, I know). I like it.
