June 2021 BotM - Now Available!

It looks a lot like one of the DLT exclusives from a couple of years ago (with the addition of that snazzy thumb stud).

I would consider a knife like this BOTM if it had the traditional clip point, but I'm pretty much over the drop point 110/112s now.

First time in a while, if I remember correctly, that there are still some available this morning. Lately they've been selling out the BOTM before I go to bed. Hmm. Guess this one was a yawner for a lot of folks.
I think longer Sold Out times are due to the increase in producing 500 knives each month. Before January 2021, it was a mad scramble to try to buy a BOTM (one month they only made 75). This most likely caused people to make the purchase before deciding if they really even wanted the knife in the first place. Or just caught up in the excitement of being able to purchase a BOTM. I know I liked the excitement. Now that excitement is gone, knowing there are most likely hours to make that decision, causing some to not make the purchase because (Fill in your reason). Going forward, I think the time to Sold Out may increase, as people realize they have a day to make the decision. Unless, of course, the knife is a super fantastic o'my goodness, etc, etc. Just my thoughts : )

Just curious, if you know, what was the price of the DLT version ?

Thank you. I missed that one, . . . but I got this one !

Excellent! DLT did several of the Buck 110s. One year it was S30V, drop point, rosewood. The following year it was the S35VN drop point that I mentioned, but they had it in black Micarta, green Micarta, and one other color and I think a wood version. I blame the PreparedMind101 youtube channel for getting me hooked on them!

Here are four of the DLT Limited Editions.

I can take or leave the medallion.

I do like the handles without the exposed scale pins or the rocker rivet.

My custom shop orders always excludes those items.

I took a pass... it wasn't different enough from what you can get through the custom shop.

Other than the G10 handle material, that's not one of the custom shop options and the thumb stud that you can get else where, that was about it.

For $20 more, I can order a custom 110 with the S30V drop point blade and nickel bolsters, with a Buckeye Burl handle to match the custom shop 119 I had made with a Buckeye Burl handle. I also like the 110's without rivets, especially for an ornate wood handle.

New to site and new to Buck Knives. Jumped on this one due to OD green handle (I’m retired Army) and the fact that I’ve been wanting a 110 for some time.

Purchased on Tuesday, but haven’t received shipping notification from Buck yet. Does Buck typically take this long to process and ship?

jbmonkey jbmonkey is spot on. I've had the same happen in the past. Actually, this month is somewhat similar. I order one within 30 minutes of it going on sale. Decided to get a second one since two of my children have June birthdays, so figured one for each. Purchased them about an hour apart total.
Received shipping confirmation for one the next day, but didn't receive shipping confirmation for the second one until this morning. Both are scheduled to arrive on Monday. I don't think you have to worry.
Thanks for your service!
