Thomas and my knife addiction are a regular topic of discussion at my house. (usually it's more "you cut yourself again! thats what you get! if you wouldn't constantly flip that thing!") I had made the comment yesterday that if it weren't a Thursday I'd cut out some letters and make a sign "Lolo call Thomas" and head down to Eugene.

Now I just received a message "Lolo is on TV" with this picture attached. She's got a sad longing look like she needs Thomas and for him to let me come watch the robodrill work some more [the whir of the stepper motors is oddly calming.. and the entire building has a strong cutting fluid smell that brings back fond memories of the factory sale.. and everyone that works there is bad @$$ and fun to talk to]

Damn, and I thought something was about to be released. :( Ah well, it's okay Thomas, I'm sure that one day Lolo will be yours, and when that day comes how about a giveaway huh? :D

100m hurdles tonight at 5:40PM
Tomorrow 100m hurdles semi finals at 3:15PM, 100m hurdles finals at 5:45PM
 
I had to work. Otherwise I would have driven over to Eugene in a heartbeat. It's only a two hour drive from here.. :(
 
For anyone wondering Lolo Jones took 3rd in the finals just making the Olympic team. I don't know if Thomas got a call; I hope so.
 
I would have thought that she would have done better. Oh well, at least she made the team...

PS - In case any of you missed it, there is a video about Lolo on Yahoo's front page right now...
