I seen a Facebook video with CJ showing the Marksman June Buck of the Month Knife, he is telling everyone to sign up for emails to get notified for when it is available.

I don't know if they got hacked, but I placed an order over a week ago that should have shipped on Monday or Tuesday. I never received a shipping confirmation and followed up via email Friday morning. The response I received was "Sorry for the delay we had some serious network and computer issues last week so nothing was able to ship out of here". So something was up last week. They did send out a shipping confirmation almost at midnight Friday/Saturday.
 
computer system was seriously hacked the wednesday of the factory sale----new computers are being installed and they should all be back up this week....maybe jeff can pipe in here and give a little more info on Monday--bet he is super busy doing a ton by hand so give them time......
 
Since I have purchased from them in the past, using a credit card, I wonder if this is going to be a problem. If they were hacked I hope they disclose if any customer information was hacked, like what happened to Target a few years ago.

They don't store your CC #. That's why you have to enter it every time...

what's the marksman gonna be.......
 
I would imagine alot of history was either lost or screwed up. Might take some time to recover.

I noticed recently that Buck counterfits were gone from aliexpress.com..... a place that was counterfit central...
 
Buck now has a person dedicated to fighting counterfeits. Can't remember his name off the top of my head but I spoke to him a few weeks ago about something else
and he mentioned that fighting counterfeits was one of his main job duties. Looks like it is working. Great job Buck.

Joe Houser was assigned the anti counterfit task. Has that responsibility been reassigned recently?
 
Yes. Joe does not do that anymore. At least that is what I was told. He is concentrating on making knives.
 
I submitted a knife for counterfeit review and received a very quick response from Tony Wagner (titles: MAP Administrator / Brand Protection / Account Analyst). Apparently Tony wears many hats at Buck. ;)
