What is the latest news? Not much fever going around like last month, is everyone tired of waiting?

About which one? The Junglas or the Lite machete? They are (I believe) still in the process of finalizing the sheath on the Junglas. Not sure about the Lite Machete.

As far as I know March is when you need to keep your eyes peeled for the new models.

As of a few days ago I now own one of each model of RAT/ESEE Cutlery blades, so I'm in no rush for the Junglas

Most of us got the craziness out over the last 6 months... Now we've got our preorders in and are trying to forget about them so the time pAsses sooner. . In theory it should only be another 2 weeks til we have chopping pics all over the place here. The trees will never be safe again!

Spoke with Shon yesterday and we're gettign real close on shipping the Lite Machete to dealers. After SHOT we were backlogged with orders so it caused us to get behind on some of the enw product but it won't be long.

I got my lite-machete on 04/23/10. The machete tip came through the sheath & messed up the convex edge about an inch or so.

That sucks, but the sheath is a POS anyway, as stated by Jeff himself.

If you look around online...you can find the replacement sheaths for condor el salvador machetes for around $15. Highly recommended.

The place I found it the photo was incorrect...but I took a chance since the stock number was correct for the model. Got the right sheaths.

ok, i tried looking online for a while but where did ya get this 15$ sheath replacement ? I saw knifecenter .. who else ? [good reputation stores]
