Junglas Lite Machette?

If this is deal spotting axe this for me shotty/TTD

It's the wrong stock photo, but the stocking number matches. I ordered two, and they split the shipment. Probably not a 'stock in hand' store, but sending orders to a shipping warehouse. Not my preference, But I got them they're the proper sheath, and had fast email replies when I questioned the split order.

EDIT: a quick search for the stocking number showed many multiple tactacool websites that are using the same wrong stock photo, and look to be warehouse front sites. Mileage may vary.

I got a 12 dollar condor bolo instead and I've managed to lacerate myself 8 times in the hands and once on the top of my foot while fondling it over a case of Steel Reserve. It's not exactly light, but I'm not gonna have to dislocate my shoulder to get it to bite either. All is well on the poor man's front, though I need a new roll of medical tape :D

thanks for the info.. and buymilspec doesn't offer Canada shipping in their option.. i'll keep lookin' around .. (the others i have found said "out of stock" and "discontinued item"). Until I replace that sheath, im keeping my smaller condor golok strapped to my packsack and will leave the lite machete in the closet.

med tape? please. cottonballs and duct tape!

I don't have any more cotton balls, too much PJCB action lately. I have alot of coffee filters, for some reason... medical tape is GOD though

yea...it's saved my ass from some pretty serious crap. Casted up an ankle once with it that I couldn't stand on with it :)

I need more money - I would love a Junglas & a Lite Machete & an Izula Folder.

But I have several folders and some large knives like my BK-9 - no machete though.

I'll put the Lite Machete at the top of my 'knives I want to buy' list. Does anyone know if they are looking at improving the sheath at some point? I see that Knife Centre offer it with the sheath or on its own without a sheath - so the option is there to buy the machete without the sheath and get a different sheath for it.

Yeah i really want the Lite Machete but my Condor Bolo doesn't fail me. So i have a hard time spending the $$$ on something that i don't need.

Right-o-like I said they could improve one or two small details but for the most part they're about the best you're going to get without springing for a custom.

Have Mike, Jeff or Shon posted an update on this lately, obviously it is running behind but would be nice to know how much longer???

got to play with the junglas all weekend it was great, the balance and fit is great, the grip is much better than the rtak2. hell of a chopper and takes a snakes head right off.
