Junglas Set up

Thanks for posting this up. I was wondering the size of that bag in relation to the sheath. Time to start putting together my own as soon as I can find a few things :thumbup:

I still have a few smaller pouches I could add to the junglas sheath but then it starts to get tricky due to they don't have that open sleeve like the janus pouch and I'm not a big fan of rigging pouches with Paracord thru eyelets.... I like streamline.

nice setup! should've whipped up that longrod and junglas...i bet with the shower of sparks the parents would've stopped fighting.

Great looking setup. It would be nice to see the rig in a carry mode pic. I can't wait till I get a decent setup.

Nice kit and set up Tony. I'm anxious to read your report when you get back after testing it out.

Now I remember what this reminds me off. The book of Eli!
Plus it's a really good set up

I too have to say this once again.. great setup Tony.. [I will make a macro on my logitech G11 keyboard.. to push the G18 key and it will automatically type "great setup TTD!"

My only concern about it is: if you carry the setup in your back, what is stopping the knife to sling from back to side position.. can you block the strap in a way that the junglas will stay in your back while walking ? I am very interested in your answer on this one.. wanted to do that for a while and i am suppose to get my junglas today!! the janus is ready, the strap, shoulder pad..

From what I have noticed is during walking it does not move...now in my next thread you'll see that I added a Canteen pouch w/canteen/stove/cup and it offsets the weight even more and during brisk movement which is not me :D it rides better.... :thumbup:

Awesome set up. I have many of the same components, after I amass the rest I'm going to try this one out. Thanks bro!

How would you rate the Janus pocket for belt carry? I've been looking at picking up a pouch that would be good for a small daily-carry kit, and I love the setup of the Janus, but when I read the measurements it seems rather bulky and large.

@texastonydobbs

Did you put the kydex sheath through the belt loop of the Janus or attach it via molle?
