Junglas

good choice dude. my girlfriend bought me a junglas for my b-day this sumer:D. I brought it out for a camping trip and it performed like a champ. It did some chopping and batoning for a fire, followed with food prep by the izula. but for now im keeping it oiled with an izula piggybacked to the sheath until the next time i get to go out.

Updated with pics and quick performance rewiew...

one more thing!!! the edge is soo easy to sharpen, it went from sharp to shaving in like two seconds freehand with a cheapo smiths diamond hone!!! and that was after beating thru logs!!

Pics?

The Junglas helping me with some Gas Chromatography.
The Ra is just along for the ride.
There are very few things the Junglas isn't good at.

Does anyone have a spine thickness comparison between the Junglas and Rtak 2? Pics would be appreciated.

The Junglas and RTAK are both 3/16" thick. I have many large choppers, but the Junglas is a favorite user of mine. Love the balance and the nice handle.

I had been wondering if I'd get much use out of a Junglas then saw a couple threads like this one. I have a hatchet for stumps and limbs and things, but it almost seems like the Junglas would do a better job, or at least be easier for me to grab and use, and I could carry it more easily of course, and it looks much cooler than my hatchet  lots of reasons ....should this be my next purchase after my HEST?

I just bought my first esse products today,a junglas, arrowhead and a fire steel. Can't wait to get my hand's on them it's going to be fun.

I recently received my junglas about a week or two ago. I was showing a friend my bug out bag and the junglas and it bit me, cleanly cutting through my work trousers and into my leg. :foot: My one thought?

Man, this thing is sharp! :D

Go out and buy one. It'll outlive you and even if you do break it, ESEE will send a new one your way...

Can you get the pouches for the front? Like the one's for the 4,5,and6 and does it come with the same kind of mole backing that you have to buy separately for the others? Thanks

hi, it comes with the molle back like you can buy for the 5 and 6. there are no pouches yet but they are planning on bringing them out.

take it easy

This is kind of funny! I bought my Junglas 1st, and a 6, but I want the new folding HEST so bad I'm drooling. But Oh yeah, its So much more easier to have a Junglas at your side, not wackin ya if your axe/hachet is in a toolbelt holder, or backpack = takes up space. And just grab and just as you would any EDC knife. You don't even seem to notice them after awile. Besides, you can shave with your Junglas, with your axe???? Really.. One of the best tools you can buy. And can't beat the price for the quality. (they are Hard to get dull?) Yeah like you said, "lots of reasons" enjoy edgy
