Jungle Bush Knife

Alright Dan you just designed a really good looking bushcraft knife, now we need a Jungle/bush knife. I really love the look of this knife, I'm thinking full tang w/micarta handle, 3/16" thick with a 11" blade.

I designed one for Dan, but he no longer forges blades. Dan, how about resurrecting my jungle parang project in a stock removal piece? something like a parang lading shape?

I was looking at your parang design just 2 days ago, spyken...longing to make it. Great drawing, by the way. :thumbup:


I do have a Jungle Knife in the works....but yet to be disclosed.



That said I do like parangs...and will definitely be interested in making one. Let's here some more ideas. :thumbup:

one of the nicer parangs I have seen parang

and a very nice duscussion on a different design. One I think I would prefer to use as I think much of the vibration would be absorbed
