Hello all , a little while back I introduced the Jungle Companion , a new design for me and it was well received . Well it dawned on me I had another blade of the same profile but smaller , so I finished it out with the same grind and finish and here it is . Thank you all for looking at my offerings .
spec for the junior .
Steel is ATS-34 SS , Hollow ground 3/16th and heat treated to an Rc. 60-61 , with a bead blast finish .
O.A.L is 10 "
Blade is 5-1/8" with a sharpened edge at 4- 7/8" . Top clip is 1-1/2" with a dulled out edge . ( it was sharpened and I dulled it down with the bead blast on purpose , it was designed to help in penetration not cutting )
Spine has 5/32 chain saw file thumb grooves .
Handle is Black/Green Linen Micarta with S.S. pins .
Sheath is 8-9 oz leather , right or left hand carry .
