Jungle gear test

Would love to see a test on ponchos. Best materials. Secondary uses such as shelter or sleeping bag. Best sizes.
 
I second that Fireman. and the woodsmans pal pretty cool piece of gear. they are 80% off from some liquidating catalog company, you have to call to get the catalog though no e-mail?

How about rain gear. Hats, jackets ect.
I went to the Dominican republic a few years ago and found out up in the mountains it rains a lot. Thankfully it wasn't cold. All I had was a flimsy windbreaker and an untreated canvas hat. I was not prepared. That wont happen again.

I have one these nets as well and it has been great so far and for 13 bucks you cant go wrong.. How about the survival straw maybe get a student you don’t like vary much to test it out. :D(just kidding).or a bottle of STABILIZED OXYGEN

They are fun to use eh.
I carry mine in my daypack, maximum functionality in a really small package.
 
Really good product! :thumbup:

I have used it as a hammock, improvised sling bag, and stretched it across two polls to make a lazymans brush shelter.
I havent yet used it to fish.

I’m sorry man, I thought you were talking about the Survival Straw, I also have one of the nets and like you, I have not used mine to fish yet… But I have thought about…. It is an excellent item, the net that is…
